I included this face mask on my Avon Haul post, which you can check out here.
Avon products are not really talked about much and it is actually an inexpensive brand with some really nice things!
This product is a dark charcoal grey colour. This face mask turns light grey when it dries and it’s ready to be washed off, which is about 20 minutes after you apply it on your face.
It claims to basically ‘suck’ the dirt out of your pores, like a magnet, and leave them looking small. It also claims to control the oils on your face. You know anything mattifying is right up my street because my skin is oily AF!
I think I can say now, after using it a couple of times, I find myself sometimes looking in the mirror and noticing how nice my pores look.
I’m not sure I can say anything of its mattifying proprieties. I haven’t noticed my skin to be any less oily than it was before.
It has a really mild scent which I think is really good. You’re going to keep this on your face for 20 minutes so any overpowering scent would probably give you a headache!
Something that I found out recently with this face mask is that it applied so much better with a brush! I used to always see beauty gurus use brushes for applying face masks and I thought it was a bit much. That I couldn’t possibly make a difference, other than the fact that they wouldn’t get their hands dirty. Well, let me tell you it really does make a difference.
It applies the product on a uniform layer, uses much less of the product and as a bonus it just looks pretty.
I am using this foundation brush from Primark and let me tell you I have come to find Primark brushes are actually not that bad! I usually prefer a sponge for applying foundation but I love this brush for face masks!
Let me know what your favourite face mask is and if you’ve ever tried this one!
