As you certainly know if you’ve read any o my recent blog posts or follow me on any of my social media: I’m in the UK. I know, I know, You’ve read this 100x by know. Thing is, I really love to travel. Granted, I don’t come to the UK for your typical tourist stuff. I’m here visiting my parents, I’ve never even been to London yet.
However, I still enjoy it and find it interesting to see all the differences in food, traditions and what not. Mostly, and this is something I talk about all the time, makeup is so much cheaper here. So while I’m in makeup heaven I wanted to share with you all the places I want to go once I finish my degree and save some (a lot of) money.
I’ve been wanting to go to Greece for as long as I can remember. There’s something so magical about it, plus, imagine all the photos I could take! It feels like it would be the perfect summer vacation, maybe even a honeymoon destination! It’s not the most expensive trip on this list so I hope to someday make this little dream of mine come true.(imagine writing a blog post titled ‘Travel Diaries: Santorini’, how crazy would that be?!).
I’ll admit I haven’t even had the courage yet to look up how much a trip to the Maldives would cost.(I can imagine it costs an arm and a leg!). I always joke with my boyfriend that this will be our honeymoon destination but, realistically, it might be a bit (or a lot) out of our budget. Everyone knows of the famous over water hotel rooms and I can only imagine how beautiful it is to wake up in a place like that!
3. Auschwitz, Poland
There are so many cities in Europe with so much historical meaning and places I’d love to visit. I’d love to visit Auschwitz. I can’t imagine all the suffering that happened there. I just can’t wrap my head around it. It’s definitely a place I’d love to visit and learn more about. Also, Poland is a beautiful country with a lot of different places to visit, it would be a lovely trip!
4. Barbastro, Spain
You probably won’t know that I lived in Spain most my childhood, in a little town called Barbastro. It certainly is no Madrid, but it has a special meaning for me and I’d love to go back someday. I’ve never really talked about this before but my experience in school wasn’t the most pleasant. I was ‘the poor kid’ in a good school and always felt like I was worth less because of it. Now that I’m an adult, about to become an engineer I think it would be a really good feeling to go back there, having turned around my life completely. Obviously, I’d also love to re-visit places like Madrid, Barcelona and such. It’s been almost 10 years since last time I went to Spain, that’s crazy!
These are the 4 places I’d really love to travel to. Of course, I’d love to go to places like Paris, London and such. I’d be very interested to go to the USA, see how much different everything is! Have you ever been to one of these places? What’s your dream destination? Leave me a comment, I’d love to know!
