Yes, I’m doing this again. I’ve mentioned time and time again how much affordable makeup is over here in the UK. Naturally, I shop ’till I drop every time I come here! Superdrug had a million different things on offer so I couldn’t say no to trying tons of new makeup!
Another exciting thing that is also happening (and is featured as part of the haul) is my first ever GIVEAWAY!! I’m so excited for this, I’ve been thinking about it for so long! All the details and products will be at the bottom of this post!
Something really excited that happened is that I’ve finally found a foundation that matches my skin. If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen how happy I was about that on my instastories. Mind you, I don’t normally use foundation because I had such a hard time finding one that is just the right shade. I got it just right with the Makeup Revolution Foundation Drops in the shade F2. However, when I went back to get the Rimmel Match Perfection I had the most frustrating experience. They were all too pink, yellow or orange. I might make a post about this eventually. If I had such a hard time finding the right shade, I can’t imagine how a person of colour feels!
I bought the MUR Ultra Bronze bronzer the first time I went to Superdrug this time (I went there multiple times, yes). If you haven’t tried this one yet you really have to. At least go give it a swatch if you can. It has the most buttery feel I’ve ever touched. Not even a Mark Jacobs eyeshadow feels that good. Really, go buy it!
I’m still going to play with the Maybelline Fit Me setting powder but I can already see why it’s so popular. It really makes my pores look smaller and I can’t wait to use this with my Benefit Porefessional! I might be blogging about these soon, as well as the foundations so keep your eyes peeled for that! (What kind of an expression is that anyway?)
I also tried buying a different makeup sponge since I’ve been using the Real Techniques Miracle complexion one for years now. I’ll let you know how that went on another post. Another thing I want to talk more about soon is the St. Moriz fake tanning mousse that I bought. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to take that one back with me (it’s over 100ml) but I’ve already taken my photos and will be sharing my thoughts with you very soon!
Finally, here’s the giveaway! Dreams&Lashes is turning one on October 1st and I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for a full year without missing many posts. I’ll write a full soppy post all about that next month, where I will be announcing the winner.
For now, though, let’s talk about the goodies and what you need to do to win them!
- Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
- Makeup Revolution Reloaded Iconic Fever Palette
- 2 Bubble Face Masks
- A cute cat notebook
